Questions
How long is the cable that is attached to the anchor? I need to know how much cable I will have above ground after full installation into the ground.
- We recommend driving the anchor head to a depth of 24 inches below the surface. This will leave approx. 12 inches of cable above ground for tie off to your structure. thank you,

If you wanted to move the kennel later, is there a way to get them out of the ground and reuse them besides digging?
- Our ground anchors are more of a permanent installation, so no, it is not realistic to expect to re-use them. Normally the cable will be cut off at ground level, when moving your structure, then new anchors will be used for anchoring in your new location. Thank you,

Dog kennel anchor
- Well, the ease to which the anchor can be driven into ground is directly related to the composition of the ground. Regular dirt / residential fill is normally found to be fairly ease to sink the anchors. However; gravel, rock laiden ground or highly compacted areas can be more difficult. There may be certain ground composites that are difficult for any type of anchor system to penetrate. If in fact this is the case, I can only suggest returning our anchoring kit in place of another solution. Sorry for your challenge.
