Danios are an easy beginner fish that does well in a community setting and makes a brilliant schooling display. The Longfin Blue Danio has beautiful colorations that will shimmer in your aquarium! They can be housed in really any quantity but keep in mind the larger the school then a larger tank is needed. They do exceptionally well in planted aquariums with darker substrate but can thrive in tanks without. Provide an aquarium with higher flow to mimic their natural habitat. The Longfin Blue Danio will accept just about any food that is dropped into the tank from freshwater flakes to frozen meaty foods.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.

I got 3 zebra danios and 2 leopard danios at petco and in about a day of having them one died. the next day another dies with a strange white spot growing on it. it was not like cotton through which I hear is a disease. my tank is a 20 gallon and before I introduced the new danios I had 3 pearl danios and 2 plecos and the were doing very well and seemed to be in perfect health. well one of my pearl danios died after the new fish came to no obvious elements. and now my 2 plecos died.the same way
My betta is a baby boy (4monthold) When I first got him he was red with white. 2 months ago his growing fins began becoming blue. Abt 3 weeks ago I see that he began losing his color a bit& began becoming kind of transparent, so I took the water to get checked& the water was good but the store couldnt check for ammonia cause they had ran out of that test(water has conditioner). Last night I notice that he started getting a shiny silver color on 1side of mouth& in gill. But he is acting normal
what kind of fish are these? and would they be good with a male betta

Hello I have I have a 30 gallon tank with some goldfish and some other breeds as well but my two oldest goldfish (around 6 years old) have white little dots all over their fins and the female has red dots on her and the male has red tiny lines all over his back fin and they are both acting different just mostly hanging out at the bottom of the tank not eating much and the male is moving in weird fast circles randomly. I did add a heater for a couple days but it is off now. What could be wrong?
