Covered with Fungus or Mold

Bought this and when I got home and opened the package there were 4 bulbs that were all covered in a whitish/grayish mold. Of course, none of them have grown, and not only that, but they rotted and stank in my aquarium. Do not buy these! If you do buy them, I suggest opening the package before you leave the cashier's counter in case they need to be returned.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bulbs were moldy, and far beyond saving. They smelled badly, and made a mess of the tank.

No, I do not recommend this product.

These bulbs are in a large brown "something." It looks like a wad of cardboard, Am I supposed to break open the wad of cardboard to find the bulb? If I put it in the tank, as is, it just floats without showing any signs of the wad opening. ???

  1. Hi Peggine, Good day! The bulbs in that lily pack are not wrapped in anything. The “brown wad of cardboard” is the actual bulb. Normally they will sink right away, but sometimes it might take a couple days for them to get water logged. If you partially bury them in the substrate that will help keep them from floating. Thanks,
