Helps dissolve away sludge, organics and breaks down dead algae so the water stays clear and clean. Increases oxygen in the water that helps to keep the fish healthy and reduces odors. Also provides nitrifying bacteria to boost the biological filter. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Every situation is differentyou may need to adjust these guidelines to match your water conditions. In general, frequent smaller additions are more effective than a one-time large dose. For best results, turn off your UV sterilizer for 24 to 48 hours after each dosing. Initially, use 1 ounce per 100 gallons of pond water. Afterwards, use 1 ounce per 200 gallons weekly. Adjust for seasonal variation and water temperature. Try to spread evenly over the surface.

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days.
