I just bought a Red Ear Slider. Ive had him for 5 days now and this is the second time I find a random small pebble in his tank. I dont have any rocks in his tank at the moment. Could it be that he ate pebbles when he was in his previous home? If he did is it dangerous?

I have a decoration in my tank with my goldfish I am starting to get worried about the fishes health since I started to notice a brown substance taking over the leaves of the fake tree decoration. first of all, thanks for your advice with my african dwarf frogs! after the aquarium salt bath they are doing great and even look more vibrant now! i was wanting to know what substrate would be best in the tank. would sand be okay or would they eat that like the gravel? i have a heavily planted aquarium and need something to keep the plants in place but i dont want my frogs to eat it and have something happen to them. i find conflicting information when i research it online. thanks!
I have a 20 gallon tank. I'm thinking of buying +5 fish. Which fish could I buy and what would I need for the fish and tank?
I went on vacation and put a vacation feeder in the tank when I came home his tank was a sandy color. After cleaning his tank complete I put him back in and after that he hasn't been the same going on a week with out eating. What did I do wrong? Now I have bought a different tank and rocks, add water and a water heater and added stress coat. Is there anything else I can do to help he's breathing really fast? I have seen a change since I've put him in the other tank, he is swimming more.
