The Leopard Wrasse would be a perfect candidate for the expert aquarist. Its peaceful behavior, adult size of 6" and bright coloration makes it very popular. They can be added into an aquarium in a group. Like many other wrasses, these have the ability to change sex, so the most dominant fish in the group will become the male. They prefer established aquariums, so they can hunt small invertebrates in the substrate. It is strongly advised that the aquarium has a tight-fitting lid, because they are known to jump out. This wrasse has a high metabolism so they should be fed several small meals rather than two large meals a day. This wrasse displays sexual dimorphism and the male is typically more colorful. The female has irregular spots that are dark brown with orange markings on their face and fins. The Leopard Wrasse is found in the Indo Pacific inhabiting subtidal reef flats, lagoons and seaward reefs.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
If we need to contact you for any reason about your order, shipping of your package may be affected. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email. We ship for arrival to the customer Tuesday through Friday and Saturday for an extra charge where available.

My juvenile leopard geckos will try to eat its food but pukes it up shortly after. Bought him from pet smart 3 and a half weeks ago, they did not know the age or gender. But he was fine until this week. He's been throwing up past 4 days. Once before he shed, and the two days after. He wants to eat but ends up throwing up!? He's been losing weight.
