Leopard geckos are hardy and docile geckos making them a great first pet reptile. As they do not require large amounts of space or expensive lighting, the Leopard Geckos have become increasingly popular pets over the years. A variety of color patterns have emerged over the years due to selective breeding. This includes, but is not limited to Albinos, Leucistics, and High Yellows. Although baby Leopard Geckos may be skittish at first, they are easily tamed. As with other geckos, they do best with a warm hiding area, and a cooler hiding area.

patternless leopard gecko body compulsion waves contracting and growling
I adopted a sick Leopard Gecko from a local pet store. The pet store doesn't take good care of Leopard Geckos. They have dried Mealworms, no calcium, no humidity, and their all crowed in one hide. My Leopard Gecko Geo wasn't eating Mealworms or Crickets. She is underweight and her tail is skinny. I started to get concerned so I started syringe feeding her daily with ReptaBoost. Today I saw her throw up some of the mix. It looks like she was struggling to regurgitate. Also the humidity is high.
I recently purchased a leopard gecko, he is albino. He has not been eating and at first I thought it was the stress of moving into a new cage, but I think he is blind and he will not eat. He is noticeably losing small amounts of weight and he is by my best guess only a couple weeks old. I have tried crickets and meal worms in his tank (the crickets only for a short period of time because they can bite) and I also tried to hand feed him meal worms.
Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
Hi! I recently got a juvenile (possibly female, not sure if I sexed it right) leopard gecko. It recently shed, and now it seems like it can't close one of its eyes. I don't Know if the problem is shedding related or not. The gecko otherwise seems to be in perfect health, moving around, eating and once in a while I'll see it drinking. Response would be Much appreciated. Thank You!
I bought a wounded baby gecko, I mean wounded because it's tail is gone. I'm not sure how old or what gender it is yet because of it missing its tail. My questions are I put a piece of clean dried drift wood & some dried out lemons & oranges in its aquarium is that ok or harmful? I also added moisture to its substrate & shallow dish of calcium powder & crickets sprinkled with it. Its tail don't seem to growing. Its only 3+half inches long, any suggestions would be great. Please & thank you
My leopard gekco sleeps all day and all night but he will move around sometimes at night but most of the time he is sleeping, is that a good thing or is it something I have to worry about because I need to know if everything is okay with my gekco.
My one year-old leopard gecko about a week ago shed and ripped too many layers of skin off her tail and it’s been bleeding and cracking she didn’t drop it off and giving her a bath putting mineral oil on it Neosporin and Vaseline she’s very restless and continuously licks her tail I have her on Eco earth and she still eats and poops and Drinks really good
My juvenile leopard geckos will try to eat its food but pukes it up shortly after. Bought him from pet smart 3 and a half weeks ago, they did not know the age or gender. But he was fine until this week. He's been throwing up past 4 days. Once before he shed, and the two days after. He wants to eat but ends up throwing up!? He's been losing weight.
My leopard gecko went from thriving, social and active earlier today to acting terrified and blind. I brought her outside today (in the shade) which we normally do at least twice a week and once inside I noticed the change. She acts like she doesn’t see my hand or the food she normally eats right away. Her eyes aren’t cloudy and she still looks the same physically. What could be causing this behavior? Is there anything I can do here at home?
SO i am thinking about getting a leopard gecko, but i am not spending a ridiculous amount of money on a cage so i am using a plastic laundrey hamper that seems about maybe 10 gallons and i am setting up little hiddy spots and stuff but i dont know wha tbeedding i should use and how much light they need please hep :)
Hello, I have a leopard gecko. He's a juvenile, and I normally feed him regular/small mealworms, but the store accidnetly gave me giant mealworms. Would it be okay to feed them to him, or would they be to big and to much of a change. Also I heard they could bite him, can they hurt him?
