Not only is this a crazy good bargain considering the size, but the build and final product are fab too. I would love to do more bird sets with this level of detail and creativity.

Lovely rendering of an impressive kingfisher poised for flight. The cat-tails were a really nice touch, as was having the winds spread, which gives real drama to the scene. A bit finicky to build and I was frustrated at times. But worth it as the result is quite attractive. Great color!

I absolutely loved doing this set!!! I have started building Legos again. It has been since I was a child since I last built anything with Legos. It helps me with my anxiety.

I got this as a gift, and I was disappointed. I usually build buildings and occasionally an off-the-wall item, Brickheadz, or architecture-related stuff. I will start with the fact that the picture they give does not even begin to do it justice. It is amazing when finished. You start the build wondering how you are going to end up with what they show, and it just comes together in the end. It has taken a place of pride on my shelf and even got its own spot light. Just go for it even if it not what you normally make.

I'm late to the game purchasing and building this set and I only bought it because, it was on sale. I never would have purchased it at full price. Funnily, I made more simple mistakes building this than I did with Starry Night and Sunflowers. But when I did finally complete this, I really liked the overall look of the bird flying from the water surface with catch in beak. The water effects, for a brick build, are really good. I saw a video on the durability and will make sure this build does not fall, because it would definitely be a hassle rebuilding it.

This build is really pretty and I passed it up 2-3 times before buying it. However it's been incredibly frustrating to put together. The base piece that holds the bird on the stand is absolutely awful and I haven't been able to finish the build. I have tried moving stuff or rebuilding but nothing works and I'm so annoyed, as it's a really pretty piece . The yellow and 2 brown pieces are what will NOT stay.
