I bought this set for my 5 year old Grandson for his birthday. His 10 year old sister can help him build things with the instructions or he can just have fun with his imagination! They both love it!

This is a good sized Classic set for free building, without taking up a lot of room - the whole set fits nicely in a bowl. Lots of colors that play well together, and I love the new animal eye and mouth print pieces (really why I bought it). I call the snail Clarence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had several good photos of this, but Influenster decided to delete them all and then ask to review the post again, like we really keep this stuff around for months. It would have been helpful if they kept the review along with the photos that worked because I know several of them fit the guidelines. But since I have a little boy that takes apart all his Legos and puts them in a big pile after building them, I don’t have any pictures of this or the box. This was from months ago!! Overall, I do totally recommend this set if your child likes fast easy builds. My son sometimes doesn’t like the really long complicated Lego builds and this will keep them entertained for a longer time because it’s several smaller ones. I wish we still had the pictures because he did several builds from the book, and then he did several that he made up himself.
