Hello, my dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix, (that's a mouthful!) and he destroys every toy we give him! He has never chewed on furniture, (even as a puppy) or clothes or shoes. But we've purchased every toy under the sun and he still rips them to shreds! We've gotten indestructible toys like, fire hose toys, Kong toys, etc. We gave him a thigh bone from a cow and he broke it with one chomp. Is there something better? Or do we just replace toys? He does best with benebones, antlers, selects kings if they are solid . He slowly eats them, spits out kong pieces . We are used to hearing him contently chewing . We praise him. . He is very healthy and happy . The problem: I was hearing him chewing and it sounded different . He was eating my husbands leather shoe! He is challenging commands he knows as well! ??
