What all do I need for a new kitten
Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Or if there is a better idea to help him also understand vertical scratch post as well. as you can see he understands, he's not grasping vertical post besides walls/sofa
Female kitten pees with butt up high Pees outside covered deep litter box
Hi, I've been on a constant fight between keeping my cat indoors vs outdoors as she is absolutely in love and obsessed with the outdoors, and so I came up with the this idea of keeping her around the patio of the house with a leesh tied to a wood. Do you recommend this? And what are your opinion?
I have an older cat who loves to go outside. We have a woods behind our garden and she loves it, but letting my 9 month old kitten out isn’t working out. I did lead and recall training and through she was ready. But she jumped the wall as soon as I let her out without a lead and got lost in the woods and I had to go find her and collect her. How can I help her explore outside safely and figure out how to return home like my older cat does?
I got my little kitten from a feral cat colony that I feed. She is about 2-3 months old, and very sweet. Our house is very small. My question is: should I allow my new kitten to go outside a few times a day ( she would go in our backyard, so she would not see the feral cats) or, should I keep her indoors all the time? I Dont want her to feel "cooped up". I play with her several times a day. She's become very social with our pets, and comes out and " visits " us often. So, indoors or out?
I have just started letting my 6 month old kitten outside. All he does is like the patio slabs (wet or dry) I’m wondering if he has some sort of deficiency? It’s like a cow with a mineral lick!
I have 2 nearly 6 minth old kittens who have only been outside individually on cat harness and lead, both desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, i got them at nearly 3 minths old. What id like to know how and when is the best way to introduce to outside, freely...and one at a time or both at same time. They are siblings, male and female Georgie
What are the activities of a week old kitten ?
She jumps up to her to ledge and I am just wanting to know of it is healthy for her to jump that high sometimes she uses her log house to climb on for a higher jump but mostly she jumps over so is it healthy for her to jump this high
Young kitten, 5 months old, limping all the time on different paws, bad breath/smell, fur matted on paws and tail, lethargic. Still eats and drinks and uses litter box. Doesn't play, just sleeps and mops around
I have changed Buddy's play pen twice because he jumps out if them. I step out for approximately an hour leaving him in his playpen with his pee pad, his bed, a blanket, his favorite toy, and he still jumps out. I make sure all doors are closed, and nothing of danger around, but i dont want him jumping over his play pen. HELP WHAT CAN I DO
