Not safe for small dogs
I bought this for a toy yorkie and she really likes it . But with in 10 minutes of having it the rubber started to brake off. She tried to eat the pieces that broke off . I had to throw it away

almost killed my cat
bought this for my cat, since it’s good for dogs I figured it’d be good for him. nope. 9k emergency vet visit and a surgery later to remove a tiny swallowed piece.

The dog loves it enough I ordered a spare
This was one of the toys we chose for our puppy, it is quite small but so far it hasn’t suffered any holes or tears in spite of daily use for a couple months.
He chews on it (sometimes in a soft, gumming way that doesn’t cause it to squeak…I think it must feel good on his gums), likes to fetch it or playing with the squeaker.
He plays with enough we wanted a backup in case the original wears out.
I wouldn’t recommend it for a dog over 20lbs because of the size, but for little dogs or puppies this is a nice choice.
