Broth!!!! When we used just water, the dogs were only interested for a few minutes. Enter beef broth!!! They were absolutely bonkers, running around and chasing each other!! After the broth melted, they continued to play with the hot dog, eventually bringing it into the house.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Overall - fun dog toy/treat

This is a fun little dog treat toy; the shape actually works out pretty well for our dogs to both play and chew at the treat toy and it just kind of a fun shape. Filling it is fairly easy and the dogs seem to really like it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good quality, wrong dog

Laura

It’s a good quality toy, but my dog doesn’t love it. The plastic of the hot dog is very thick, but soft, which makes it suitable for chewing. My dog found it easy to grip in his mouth and bring to his “place.” It was easy to fill with water — either run it under the faucet and let the water get into the holes or submerge it until it’s filled. The bottom is flat enough to easily sit in the freezer without tipping over. He just doesn’t like chewing on ice in plastic. I thought about using bone broth as something that would be more appealing to him, but the toy is hard to clean by hand. We’ll keep this toy, but I don’t think it’s one that he would prefer over his classic puzzle treat toys.

Great for Hard Chewers

I got this toy knowing it was a pool toy even though we don’t have a pool. I expected it to have a hole chewed in no time and so far it’s lasting incredibly and she chews through EVERYTHING!!! It’s pretty funny too!
