Offer a fresh serving of Tropical Fruit Gourmet Pellets to your cockatiel daily, placing in a clean food dish. Please see the average serving portions below, but adjust the serving so pellets are available all day. Include Lafeber's Nutri-Berries as 20% of a cockatiel's total diet and fresh fruits and vegetables as about 20% of their total diet. Always provide plenty of clean, fresh water. For more foraging fun, "hide" some pellets in other places where your cockatiel enjoys hanging out. Be sure your bird finds these within the day! What diet should I give to my birds (COCKATIEL) . Pls recommend something other than Pellets as it is not available in my location . I can offer it seed mix, fruits and vegetables and many other food. Pls advice me on what I should feed my cockatiel .
I have a 22 year old Timneh African Grey parrot. I have used Harrison's pellets medium size in the past. It has been discontinued. My parrot won't eat the fine size and drops the large size into water. I need suggestions of what else to use.
My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her? I’m including the details of the product in attached photos. I do feed her some seeds as a treat sometimes. Thank you.
I am looking for the best pellets for my canaries. Last year they were on a seed diet, but I slowly switched them over to Zumpreem Fruit Blend. However, I've read that the Fruit Blend has a lot of artificial coloring and sugars. I'm having trouble finding information for what the best pellets are. Please help!
My bird has switched to Lafeber’s Daily Diet pellet food. She gained too much weight with the other food she was on. I noticed she is eating it, but it’s turning into something similar to sawdust. She does seem to eat the dust though. I don’t know to give her more or not. I’m giving her 30cc of it a day. I don’t want her to get malnutritioned, but I don’t want her to gain weight. She needs to lose weight. What should I do? Should I have her eat the dust that’s left, or give her more pellets?
Is there a good high calorie supplement, vitamin or food that I can offer my seed junkie parakeet? She scored a poor body condition, was described as thin at her exam. Currently taking Metacam for an ouchy foot.
Hi, i have 2 new young cockatiels and we have to travel for around 4 nights and i want to leave them enough food, so i was wondering if it is okay to leave them homemade dried fruits, sunflower seeds and phalaris (canary seeds)? If dried fruits are okay, which fruits should i make for them? thanks in advance.
Hello I have a 4 month old Black Capped Conure. I’m thinking about changing his diet to Lafeber’s pellet berries. Is that a good diet for him? Also how do you gradually switch the food? Thank you

I have 2 parakeets and I have been feeding them seeds and millet. I believe that what I am currently feeding them is not nutritious. I am currently training them to eat fruit and vegetables and to be hand tamed. I would like to know what food can I buy for them so they can eat nutritious and I can take my time training them.
