Hello I have a 4 month old Black Capped Conure. I’m thinking about changing his diet to Lafeber’s pellet berries. Is that a good diet for him? Also how do you gradually switch the food? Thank you
My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her? I’m including the details of the product in attached photos. I do feed her some seeds as a treat sometimes. Thank you.
I have 2 parakeets and I have been feeding them seeds and millet. I believe that what I am currently feeding them is not nutritious. I am currently training them to eat fruit and vegetables and to be hand tamed. I would like to know what food can I buy for them so they can eat nutritious and I can take my time training them.

My bird has switched to Lafeber’s Daily Diet pellet food. She gained too much weight with the other food she was on. I noticed she is eating it, but it’s turning into something similar to sawdust. I have a 4 month old Black capped conure. I noticed this morning when I first took him out of his cage he had more watery stool then usual. Colors looked normal. It’s a dark green color with white. He is on a seed diet it’s called Kaytee Forti Diet Pro Health. Is this a good diet to feed him? Also is it ok that his stool was a little watery? Thank you

Hi! I recently got a little baby parakeet. So far, she’s been doing very well; it’s been a little over a month. However, instead of eating all of her seed mixture, I think she just picks through & eats her favorites because there are a lot of remnants at the bottom of her cage that are uneaten. She eats kaytee Fiesta seed mix. Should I change it? Add something else? Or what what I incorporate in her diet to make sheets she’s getting what she needs? She’s tried apple so far.
We're wondering if there's anything we can do to improve her diet. Right now she is eating pellets (Zupreem, converting to Zupreem naturals), seeds, and we offer veggies every day despite her never really finishing them. We're now grinding up a Tums onto the food every day, as she was egg bound recently. We get 30-60 mins of time outside a day when possible, for sunlight. Any suggestions, or does this look fine? Thanks.
