Great customer service!

They seem to be just fine. 1 of 6 bags came in with a leak, but when I called customer service they replaced it immediately. I won't know for about a week to see if the bag is functional.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The Item Received Was Not the Item Pictured

Let's be honest, in the grand scheme of things the solution in the bag is some form of lactated ringers. Not all fluids are created equal though. Some have different additives while others have bags that are manufactured differently. The product pictured, Hospira brand with 50 ml markers, is NOT what was shipped to me. Instead I received Vetivex bags with NO 50 ml markers. For folks, like myself, who have to administer 125 or 175 mls, the 50 ml markers are extremely helpful. I specifically ordered from Petco because I thought the Hospira brand was what I was ordering. Their product disclaimer isn't entirely clear in my opinion. Petco maintains they can ship me whatever brand they want as long as it's a form of lactated ringers. A picture of the Hospira brand should NOT represent this SKU if that's not what is going to be shipped.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Petco is going to hell. They kept cancelling my order for the macro drip administration line, now it doesn't show up in my account. Guess I'll just lay the bag on my cat and see if she can absorb it through osmosis.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The solution is great - same brand as the Vet's. BAD - no info from Express Scripts - don't know if items were shipped and no tracking. Just shows up.

I live in La Mesa my cat has a chronic kidney condition. At my/her Vet I was paying $40. for one bag. Here through Petco I got 3 bags for $30. Same product, great savings! You need a prescription from your vet for this item but Petco makes it easy. You supply information they contact Vet!

Sort by: Newest Answers

Does the Lactated Ringers solution come with the line and needles?

  1. No. You have to purchase them separately

Can I pick this up at my local store?

  1. No, you need a prescription from a vet.

Is the yellow dot on the front a place to draw fluids/inject meds?

  1. The yellow dot is a self healing port , that is used to add other medications to the bag and or remove some of the medication from this one. I am not a vet tech but I am a registered nurse.
