The Up & About Lifter is the perfect solution for an aging dog who can still get around, but finds is harder than it used to be to climb stairs or get into the car. The thickly padded chest section and adjustable straps on both the top and bottom ensure comfort, and the handle allows you to help when it's needed without prohibiting your dog's movement.

Have used this with several of my furkids as they get older. Works for me even though I am short (5'3"). BUT wish you had a boy version with a bigger cut out. Girls didn't have an issue but boys can get messy

Our beloved 13 year old mixed breed 70 pound dog suddenly diagnosed with a bone tumor and unable to put weight on front left leg. This lift has been a great help in getting him up and down a few stairs to potty and to get out for short walks as we adjust to his limits. Thank you!

My dog has torn her ACL and needs surgery. Unfortunately, she was just diagnosed with Cushing's also so we have to get her Cushing's under control before she can be cleared for TPLO surgery. This sling is invaluable while we do that. I've tried numerous slings and harnesses and this is the only one I've been happy with. My only complaint is it is too large for my dog so I've had to add more Velcro to the straps to make it smaller. My doc is 45 lbs, but she is short and stout, so it seems like they would make a slightly smaller size to fit a medium size dog but this is the only size they make. It is for a large dog.

Nice to have for helping senior dogs up and down stairs or into and out of a vehicle. The front strap is necessary so that the sling does not slide backwards, but it also limits their front leg movement. A re-design of the product moving that strap up or changing it to a "Y" style would help.

I put this on my dog when it first arrived to see how well it would work. He's older and has arthritis and hip issues so this seemed like it could help me get him around easier. After that first test fit, he runs in fear from it and shakes when I start putting it on. Trying to lift him with the harness just makes him yelp in pain. I'll stick to lifting him myself and saving him the pain and fear this harness causes him.

Our 12 year old Border Collie has shoulder/back issue and needs assist in walking. This lift works excellent. Take it slow when you first use it and dog will begin to trust it and let you "know" when he needs to pause, "take a break", sniff, or just lie down and look around!
