This seatbelt tether for dogs features an arborists' carabiner that has been tested to support 20 KkN or 4,500 lbs. I have been using the Kurgo Swivel Tether for years. I love it so much, I bought one for each of my dogs for all of our vehicles so we don't have to move them from vehicle to vehicle. They are always ready to use. The construction is quite robust and it is a super secure way to tether your dog's harness to a seatbelt.

Great product dog can move around easy to use very strong when I had my accident my dog did not get hurt at all

It's a bit clunky designed and awkward but so far my puppy is tolerating it better than the first kurgo seat belt I got her.

The swivel tether makes it easy to hook my dog into the seatbelt. I don't have to fish for the seatbelt connector under my back seat cover. Great customer service too. Thank you

It is very well made but quite heavy for a small dog. Combined with my Kurgo car seat my puppy still managed to get tangled in his harness. Different size swivel clips would be very useful.

Though you may have already done so, it is worth mentioning that it may be helpful to tighten the tether as much as possible to help minimize tangling. If your puppy is very young, it's also possible they may not yet be mature enough for this type of restraint; as with any other car restraint, use of a harness and tether does require training to teach your dog not to excessively struggle. This can be very difficulty for very young pups to understand, so if your dog is having trouble retaining this training, it may help to wait until they are a little older. Absolutely the strongest and best tether you can get to keep your dog safe in your vehicle, it is the heaviest duty and strongest swivel available. Used in heavy duty commercial work. The weak point on all tethers is the carabiner or the swivel. This one is by far the best!
