The fit is great, going off the guide. Product looks and feels like it will last a long time. It doesn't restrict movement and the buoyancy is perfect for our girl at 40 pounds.

This is a well made, easy to get on life vest. My pup loves to swim but he’ll do it for hours so I was concerned about him overdoing it. We had a great time boating and swimming after we received the vest! He wasn’t bothered by it at all.

We recently bought this lifejacket for our youngest pup about two weeks ago as her old one was getting worn out. Our older two (up until now) have never "needed" a lifejacket as they are very strong swimmers and do not get too close to the edge of the boat. Our youngest, however, hangs half off the boat yet hates water like it's poison. On our second boat ride out after getting this new life jacket, our youngest pup saw a bird fly by, fell into the water, and went under the boat. We of course popped right into neutral but there were about 5-10 seconds where we could not find our pup. She came up out of the water about 5 feet behind the boat, terrified and unsure of where to go. After calling her over, she swam to the boat and we lifted her in with the handle on the back of the harness. She was perfectly fine other than being terrified. I swear this lifejacket helped save her. She is not a strong swimmer and I believe if she had gone under the boat without anything on, she would not have been able to resurface and make the swim over to the boat after everything that occurred. We originally went with this life jacket because of the bright colors and the less bulky profile, and I am so glad we did. There is just enough float to give them help when they need it, but not too much to get in the way of their activities. Our pup can run around and splash in the water freely without any restrictions that other life jackets have but is also safe in any instance where extra buoyancy and visibility are needed. We have now bought life jackets for our two other pups and they will be wearing them on every boat trip or anytime we are near the water. We have always used Kurgo products, but after this boating incident, we are 100% Kurgo supporters. I believe our pup being here today, completely untouched, has a lot to do with the well-designed product produced to keep her safe, and I'm very glad it did.

We are avid performance boaters and consider life vests for our dogs as a must-have for safety. With other brands, I was going through 2 vests a year, per dog, because the quality was so poor. These vests are incredibly well made and I am very happy with the quality.

This life jacket fit our 100lbs Alaskan Malamute perfectly! It gave us the control when needed and allowed our pup to explore the beach and go in the ocean with confidence!

This is one of the best purchases I have made for my dogs in a long time! Swimming is my dog's all time favorite thing to do in the world and they have been excellent swimmers all of their lives. They are now 13 years old and get tired much quicker than they used to so I decided to try these. They LOVE them! The dogs were able to swim more and have more fun without getting tired!
