Simple to use

I bought this for a cross-country road trip. It was easy to install on the crate (it fit a crate for my 45# dog with plenty of room to spare) and then in the car. It seems very durable. My only wish is that there was a way to secure the excess strap, instead of just letting it dangle, but that’s probably more of a cosmetic issue, so I’m still giving it 5 stars.

I would love to love this product and once it was secured it did work great, BUT and a big but, it took for ever to be able to thread the end of the strap through the clasp. One went on relatively OK, but the other only after a big struggle (it took of us) and at the end of it the end of the strap is now fraying and it will be even harder to thread into the clasp next time.

Could I use it for my cat which is only about 14 pounds

    Certainly! There is not a weight limit for these straps. Please understand that these straps do not come with a carrier, but connect around your existing hard carrier for a seatbelt to thread through.
