Please note that the product information displayed is provided by manufacturers, suppliers and other third parties and is not independently verified by Petco.

Inspired by a dog run, the Auto Zip Line allows back-and-forth plus sit-and-stand movement, but also restricts your dog's access to the front seats allowing you to drive distraction free. This multifunctional restraint system is simple to use-the sturdy webbed strap attaches to any two fixed points, and the adjustable leash easily connects and disconnects from the zip line when getting in or out of the car, which means instant transition from vehicle restraint to walking lead.

  • - Includes zip line and tether
  • - Can be installed between any two fixed points
  • - All steel hardware
  • - Quick and easy to install
  • - Tether can be used as a short lead
  • - Designed to prevent distracted driving

Needs a Swivel

Shamf

The zip line is a great concept but should not be sold without a swivel. My dog tried to lay down and because she turns before she lays down it twisted her harness so tight she couldn't move. It was a scary experience. A swivel would make it a 5 star review.

Super durable construction. My standard poodle had used a seatbelt strap for years, but this system allows him unrestricted movement in the backseat. Ran it across grab handles in Outback and new Land Cruiser.

Took some trial and error, but works well

It took some trial and error to find the right attachment points as the zipline didn't stay attached to the buckles as pictured. (My car doesn't have ceiling handles to use instead.) That said, once I worked out a suitable workaround, it works great. The only thing I wish was different was that it had a swivel on carabiner.

Design Flaws

Sharmart

This is a good product, but it has some design flaws. I had to add heavy duty carabiners in order To attach the tether strap to my headrests because the hooks that are on the tether strap would not stay on even with tension. The other flaw is the carabiners on the straps that attach to the dogs harness do not swivel and my dog rountinely Houdinis herself off the strap because she likes to turn in circles before laying down. By the time she has turned around 3 or 4 times, the carabiner twists against the clip loop with enough pressure to pop off. I had to add swivel carabiners to this set up to get it to work. This are design flaws that could be fixed by the manufacturer.

Needs swivel on tether

I purchased on of these a long time ago. Probably 10 years or more... I'm almost positive the the end that connects to the harness had a swivel clip (??). That way when the dog moved around, repositioned, etc, it wouldn't just continue to twist the lead. I have since misplaced that one and just bought a new one for a smaller dog. Was surprised to see that there is not a swivel (like on a regular leash). It only makes sense.... I know I can go buy one and add it on, and will have to, but for the cost and the quality I have always known from Kurgo I'm a little disappointed by that. Am I wrong that it used to have a swivel? Besides that it's a great product , which is why I bought another one.

Exactly what we needed

Our dog Stuart is an anxious passenger. He is constantly trying to get into the front seat when my wife and I are driving. We tried a hammock and it did not work. The Kurgo line gives him the ability to move around while providing safety and keeping him out of the front seat. It's also very easy to install and remove as needed.

Bought several years ago - I hook it on the 'clothing' handles above the back doors - works great - and unhooks quickly when a person needs the seat. Great to know my dog cannot jump out if I open the door -
