The Quantum Leash is an award-winning, versatile leash that converts into six different styles. Use it hands free by clipping it around your waist or over your shoulder courier style. Fully extended, it is 6-feet and can clip down to a short 3-foot training lead. Loop it through itself and it can be used as a double dog leash. The carabiner can be used to secure the leash to any object. Included Web Keeper has extra strong bungee that is flexible and stretchy, allowing you to attach a number of items.

I adopted a new dog from the country but live in a busy downtown area. When he saw a dog friend across a 4 lane street, he lunged unexpectedly. The leash loop slipped off my wrist (I was doing something...maybe putting a glove on/off...and he ran across, thankfully, no cars were coming! I immediately bought this hands-free leash so it won't happen again. I wear it messenger-style over one shoulder. The waist was uncomfortable. I had a hard time figuring out the 6 ways to wear it in the store. Bought a second one but haven't quite figured out how to connect them to have 3 small dogs on one leash without them getting twisted/tangled up. Its very sturdy -- the carabiner type end requires strength to open. Very reflective, washable...I like the blue one.

We're so sorry that you and your dog had such a scary experience! As dog owners ourselves, we know what a worry it is to keep our dogs safe in busy areas. We're so glad that your new pup is safe, and that this leash is helping provide a solution for both of you.

Quantum 2.0 is the latest product to suffer from "upgrades" that weren't needed but made the product worse. No handle is included, which limits its versatility and kills its usability. The new carabiner is also difficult to attach to collars because of its small size. I could get over that though. The lack of a handle is the dealbreaker. Without that, it is unusable for the most essential reason I bought this leash: walking my pup. BUY THE ORIGINAL while you can. Hopefully Kurgo will course correct for the next version.

Love this leash. It gives lots of options to attach, clip and tether your active pet. It's also durable and strong and doesn't wear and fray.

I love the versatility of this leash. I couldn’t figure out what the random clip was for and it kept digging into my back so I took it off. After reading this and seeing the pics I now realize what it is for. I would like to get the handle that’s on different versions as when I am holding it I find it hurts my hands. The link on the tag takes you to a different version that has the handle and doesn’t have the clip. Overall I really love using it around my waist with my older dog so my hands are free for the new puppy!

No match for a 10-month-old Italian Greyhound's teeth. I left it clipped to her crate, she pulled it in, and almost chewed it in two. Sorry, I didn't have it long enough to really notice anything else.

Quality leash. However, since the last model, they’ve changed the handle option to not be as comfortable. Clips are high quality and strong. Ability to choose different lengths is very helpful. Has random metal clip that is not very useful and difficult to remove.
