This wobbler is the best way I’ve found to entertain my blue heeler puppy mutt and slow her down while she eats. It takes her 5 minutes to eat as she pushes it around the house. Even though she’s figured out how it works, she can’t simply get all the food out at once like she could with simpler toys. And it’s so much less tedious to fill than the ball we got her, because this unscrews and you simply dump in all the food. We also have a slow feeder bowl and sometimes use the ball, so she doesn’t have the same experience every time. She has so much energy and needs lots of engagement. Also, she destroys every toy no matter how hard and “indestructible” it is, and she hasn’t tried to chomp this — I think because the medium is too big for her mouth.

She loves this and so do I! She was eating very fast and I wanted to help slow that down yo help with digestion. I put about half of her food in here and it keeps her entertained as well as slows her eating down.

My dog doesn't eat kibble. Can this be filled with small training treats instead? One reviewer mentioned it only works if full. Is this true? Can I add only a small handful of treats and have them come out? (thanks, in advance, for your input!)

Definitely. I don’t fill it all the way. Also, I use small treats sometimes. At first I had to play with her and show her how to do it. Now she gets it and can play with it herself.

My dog is 13 lbs and I have the smaller one. It is made of a hard plastic and is not meant to chew on. Luckily the rounded shape makes it hard for my dog to get her mouth around it and I only let her use it while supervised.

This is made of hard plastic. It is fairly loud on hardwood floors, but would probably work just as well on carpet.

I have a german shep also. This large size wobbler holds about a half cup of kibble. I do refill it often. I won't let him have it unless I am around because he gets frustrated quickly when empty and I want to keep his drive up. I like it and I am glad I spent the money.
