Our greyhound is 2 years and 5 months. She has the jaw strength to chew this and has gnawed off both ends. We remove and reintroduce it so she doesn’t get bored. So far so good. Just make sure you have a really strong chewer!

I purchased whole Elk dog bone before for my 6month Corgi. He did in the center part only. I give center split one's to him, he enjoyed very well. He shaved all softer part, now working outside of hard part. Still have to keep eye on, when it's smaller, he may chock the small bone.

A wonderful option for a two Shiba home. It’s large enough to give them something to work at but small enough for their smaller muzzles. Bonus, it doesn’t splinter like cooked bones or shed plastic chunks like other teething toys. It really can’t be beat! Lastly, after buying these, we’re started seeing a reduction in my Shibas long standing tarter.

Bought 2 of these XL splits. Says they are 6 oz each. One was 3.8 oz and the other was 4.4 oz WITH the cardboard and packaging still on it.
