My lab finds this toy intriguing

This toy was harder for my 1 year old lab to destroy. I took it away from her once she wanted to start in on chewing it instead of its intended interactive tug play. This toy is intriguing to her; the tied knots inside the monkey. Different texture and she can grab the middle during a tug play without tearing the whole thing.

6 month old large lab mix likes this toy, but he immediately ate off a piece of the antlers and tore the feet. The body seems good so far, and he has not chewed on the ropes (just a little tug). Time will tell how it holds up, but initial response is good

Good toy for use with GSDs, they don't last forever, but they are good for quite some time if you watch them closely. No fluff to speak of, but they do kill the squeakers immediately.

Solid toy for tug

My dog enjoys using the moose to play tug with me or to play solo (thrashing it around). He has torn it up a bit -- the nose is losing stuffing, & he pulled a foot off the other day while we were playing tug, but the body & ropes are holding up well (he has chewed through ropes on other toys). Overall I'm happy with this purchase, though next time I may look for something with less filling (only because of his chewing proclivities -- I quite enjoyed the look of the moose).

Would this be too big for a 3 1/2 pound mini dachshund puppy?  He’s 9 weeks old and a champion biter and tugger.

    It would definitely be too big and bulky for your puppy.  I bought it for a full grown Rottweiler.  It’s a heavy, rugged toy.
