So, we got one of these ropes in June 2025 and it was the perfect you for our 8 month old puppy. We've used it so much that it's stretched out in length and finally frayed to the point that we decided to get a new one today, January 9, 2026. In less than ONE HOUR, it's broken in two! Pup definitely got some chew time in when I thought he was gnawing an actual CHEW toy, but I'm surprised there could be this much difference in durability. Luckily, he loves playing with frayed ropes, so this will still be fun, but our buffer of the second half hold is lost.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this toy for a 10 month old Doberman pup. Rated for heavy chewers and lasted 10 minutes until it was a pile on the floor. Contacted Kong and there warrantee is as much junk as their toys. My advice buy other than Kong

    I have a belgian malinois. She has destroyed every toy I have given her except one...Benebone Dental Chew/Wishbone Bacon Dog Toy the SKU is 3376601. Kong toys and Nylabones (even the flavored ones) are boring to her to chew on. She hasn't even put a dent on those Benebone chews but she won't stop trying.
