Are any parts of this rubbery?
- IT is plastic and my 9 month old lab puppy chewed a big hole in it in 20 minutes. NOT DURABLE!

How big should the treats be
- I would first like to say that this is the most Awesome toy. My dog never tires of playing with it. I use small soft treats referred to as mini bites to fill the toy. You can also take treats that are easily breakable into small pieces to fill the toy and if out of treats your pets dog food will also work as filler to keep them happy and busy. Petco carries several different brands of each.

- I would not leave the dog unattended for too long with this toy. It is interactive and my dog loves it. But not chew proof

I'm struggling to find toys that are fun and suitable for my 9 month old gsd pup. I have a kong, a kong ring and a couple of rope toys. He seems to like the kong for a little and the rope toys are fun for tug of war. I have children with stuffed animals and I don't want him to attribute those to chew toys if I get puppy toys that looked like stuffed animals...Also for chew time are Bully sticks the safest/best thing I can give him or do you have any recommendations for that as well?

My small dog ate the rubber from a tennis ball
Hello, my dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix, (that's a mouthful!) and he destroys every toy we give him! He has never chewed on furniture, (even as a puppy) or clothes or shoes. But we've purchased every toy under the sun and he still rips them to shreds! We've gotten indestructible toys like, fire hose toys, Kong toys, etc. We gave him a thigh bone from a cow and he broke it with one chomp. Is there something better? Or do we just replace toys? I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?

This is Dexter, my gorgeous 7 year old rescued hound, & his 4 year old ball. He loves his ball & can find it anywhere we hide it in the house or yard. 2nd picture is his new ball.
