Cannot tell you if this will hold up for chewing because it smells so bad. I have other Kong chew toys that do not smell this chemical like. I have tried everything; dishwasher, baking soda, vinegar nothing works! I will not let my dog chew this when it smells this bad, I understand it is rubber but come on

Good, but inspect for safety defects before using. One of the openings was defective, and my dog ingested the pre-cut loose edging. I found out when it appeared in my dog's stool, and then I inspected the toy finding the defective edge on the one opening. Other than that, it's a fun treat stuffing toy!

I bought the large size to stuff with peanut butter. The holes are too small for my 43 pound dog to get her tongue in. Perhaps it was only made to fill with small training treats. The toy itself was very sturdy and lives up to the Kong name.
