I bought this thinking it would be durable and it was destroyed in minutes. Hopefully everything comes out okay.

Not Durable

My dog chewed the top off this toy in a matter of hours. Very disappointing since his other Kong toys have been so durable. Definitely do not recommend if your dog is a heavy chewer.

You need to know how to use it properly

My dog loves this. Mind you, I didn’t get it until she was an adult. Do NOT use with a puppy. This is for an older dog thatis done teething. My sister’s dog was an idiot and just tried to chew the bottom. You have to show your dog to turn it over end over end to get the treats out. Use SMALL treats only that can slide out of the narrow section. Most of the bad reviews from people is because they never taught their dog how to do it. Even when teaching my dog how to use their snout to push and lift it end over end, it still took her time to get the treats out. But it really helped with her boredom. Now longer bored! I used the little train me treats. I also use the large size for a 40 pound dog. I wouldn’t use this with dogs 70 pounds or bigger.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Right after we bought it, We got home and 30 minutes later was destroyed by our puppy. It didn’t really work for the treats because once they stocked the dog it’s gonna start chewing the toy til they break it and get the treat out. Any way, doesn’t really worth it at all.

Tearing up after 2 weeks

My puppy loves to chew on this and carry it around. However, the neck started to show signs of wear and breaking into small pieces after only 2 weeks and I had to throw it away. Also the treats were very difficult for him to remove.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Looked great lasted less than 10 minutes with my 5 month old puppy! Thank God I was home to pull pieces out of her mouth before she choked- this toy is NOT safe at all- it says good for moderate chewers?!? Maybe a toothless tiny dog…. Never again. Very disappointing- wish I’d read the reviews first

No, I do not recommend this product.

What type of treats go into Kong Genius Leo?

  1. Any kind that your dog will eat and fit in the holes. I soften their dog food, and then add peanut butter. I pipe it in the holes and freeze them. Then I give it to them.

Can a bully stick fit in this? Looking for something to help my dog hold a stick treat. Thank you.
