Nothing on this product works the way it should

I wish I had read the reviews of this product before I bought it in the store. It looks cute, but the main issue is that the part that goes under the door will not fit under any real door. Most of our doors are over tile or wood, and there is still not enough clearance. You would need a gap of at least 1.25 inches, which no normal door has. This product cannot stand on its own. Anything pushing against it would easily knock it over.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Photo scale very misleading but cute product

The scale in the photo is completely fake and should really be corrected. Even if you could argue that the cat in the listing photo is tiny, the scale of the toy against the door in the listing photo is definitely edited. The product is listed for 'adult' cats but its probably better for small kittens. The toy is so much shorter in person and when my order arrived I was disapointed. --That aside, its a cute idea and I think my cat will enjoy using it when she warms up to it. The stand tucks nicely under some shelves and can even stand alone (depending on how hard the cat presses against it.) The grooming bristles are hard plastic and do not flex. That isn't a problem for my cat but it may be for some.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Broken on arrival

When I got this, one of the clips on the outside that hold the cat design was broken. So now the cat design can come off the door holder easily. The cats did enjoy the catnip, but they were able to open the lid to the secret compartment within 2 minutes.

How long are bristles? How far do the rubber tips stick out?

    They are a half inch long, but are solid plastic and do not bend easily, if at all.
