Literally within moments of giving to my Aussie, he started biting off sharp chunks and swallowing them. I had to take it away immediately. *NOT* suitable for power chewers.

My dog destroyed his Kong Chewstix Ultra - for power chewers in less that 15min. Huge chunks coming off - he could have choked or incurred his intestines had he swallowed any of the pieces

Awful. Dog is bleeding from r*ctum and threw up pieces of this toy all night. There is super sharp pieces that came off when the toy was chewed. This could definitely k*ll a dog and puncture their stomach or intestines . THIS TOY SHOULD BE RECALLED. Mind you, ive been buying kongs over 10 years but this toy is garbage and should have never been made !!!!!! I have emailed the company and sent pictures of the toy.

Zero stars. This is definitely not for power chewers. Disappointed with this King product. I took it away after I realized that she was getting huge flakes off of this within a matter of minutes. Over night she vomited a glob of these “flakes”. Nothing is safe about this product!

If I could give 0 stars, I would! Do not buy! My dog threw up from this toy while being supervised. She tore pieces off within 5 minutes of having it. This toy is NOT meant for powerful chewers and is not safe to ingest! I do not recommend!

Hello! The ChewStix naturally flakes or splinters when the dog chews on it and therefor adds to the safety of the toy and helping clean teeth and gums.
