The toy is stuffed very tight seam is also. So it is easy to test open. Could only play with it 30 minutes before it popped.

We prefer the other Kong Belly Flops toys, in particular the sting ray - this one in particular only lasted a day in the paws of our aussie.

Great toy, Floats. Stands up to aggressive chewers. Unfortunately Kong may be phasing out.

Okay if you buy this thinking it's durable, no. I bought it knowing my Lab mix would tear it apart. Every once in awhile I purposely give him a fabric toy I know he'll shred. He seems to enjoy doing it so much and a squeaky one! Since we know he'll tear it up we all keep an eye on him. As the fuzzy bits come out we toss them out and the squeaker has to be removed once he's gotten hold of it. The fabric holds up fairly well to his shredding. He'd gutted the main body Christmas day. He's still getting fuzz out of the claws and the part of the body that remains has survived a few games of tug of war with us and our other dog. He had a great time with it and it was his favorite for the Holiday. All the pictures have our dog with a sad Lobster hanging out of his mouth. If your dog isn't a shredding monster this will hold up very well. Or if you just want to give your dog a few days of joy even though he is a well disguised sawzall this is the toy for you.

My dog destroys every toy within minutes but this one has lasted an entire day so far. Great for power chewers.
