My young dog (somewhere between 1-2 Y/O) loves to swim. However we do not have a pool so the best option is to take him to the local lake. Our leash isn’t long enough to let him get any further than 4 inches deep in the water so we let him off the leash to swim. He saw geese on the other side of the lake and tried to swim across. He got so far that I had to swim 60 yards into the lake and back to bring him back. Any advice to let him swim but stay away from another scary situation like today.

Hi i have a 14 month old shepherd/rottweiler mix named rex he in the past couple days has started growing this lump on the right foot it has gotten very big and feels like it is water filled, no pain for rex as its being touched or him using the foot. Hello, I have a 7 year old black lab. He's a big boy who gets very hot in warm weather so likes to lie on the coolest surface he can find which is always hard. Consequently, he has callouses on his elbows but they have become a lot bigger this year and one of them looks sore. I just wondered what Ii could do to alleviate this problem.
