DO NOT PURCHASE if you have leather seats

I purchased this product to PROTECT the light gray leather seats in my brand new SUV. Less than 700 miles on the car and the back seats are ruined with little black dots (little bumps on the black backing). Kong doesn't care. Referred me to phil@magnetsteel.com who manufactures the cover. Still waiting for their response. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND.

High quality, and one of the nicest looking hammocks I have seen. The mesh in the middle is perfect for ventilation and keeps my German Shepherd cool after running like crazy at the field. Comes in a nice carrying case. And also have a pocket that I put her stuff in. Highly recommend!

Got this because it said it’s waterproof and I have a dog who loves to swim. Got home today and checked under the seats to make sure it lived up to it’s claims and not only were my leather seats soaked, they have weird discolored splotches on them. It’s ruined the back seat just between the park and home.

Loved the look, but the mesh window ripped the first week, both in the middle where the dog leans and also at the seam where it attaches to the solid fabric. I have had covers that lasted years without the mesh tearing. Usually kong doesn't disappoint, but this really did.

Took it out of the box and was putting it on the back seat of my car and the one strap came off. Who ever sewed it did a horrible job. Now I have to go to Petco tomorrow and try and get my money back. I don’t have time for this! I am very disappointed!

Works well to protect my seat, does slide a little if she is moving around. Indi is a standard poodle, so she has learned how to access the front armrest, the mesh screen does not get in her way. Indi hasn’t poked holes in it, but with regular use(and I leave it set up in the car) and summer heat, we may have to make this an annual purchase.
She stays in the back because she wears a harness with a large swivel clip now.
Was very easy to install, I’ve wiped it down/brushed dirt off, haven’t tried to wash it, definitely would need to air dry.
We’ve had it for 6 or 8 weeks, but haven’t been out much because of the pandemic, next planned car trip will be to the vet, and hopefully her groomer! I want to get her out to a few trails by fall.

Perfect size for a Forester

This fits PERFECTLY in my Forester! My boy was unsure because it was new, but he's settling in. This is a replacement of a different brand. It doesn't slide all over the place, and the mesh gives him a window to see mom while he's laying across the backseat.

As opposed to other dog hammocks, this one has a mesh that allows the dog to visually stop when trying to enter the front seat area. It also has very good buckles that allow you to tighten or loosen as much as you want. I would very much recommend this product!
