Kohaku Swordtails are a beautiful, easy to care for, vibrant and hardy option for the beginner hobbyist. The male swordtail has a showy extension on their caudal tail that resembles a sword. It is not recommended to add multiple males to the aquarium because they can become territorial. They are peaceful fish that will do great in community tanks. Be aware that these are livebearers so when adding females and males that you can end up with more than when you started. This Swordtail will eat just about anything offered from frozen freshwater foods to pellets, freeze dried and flakes.

Hi. My back moor goldfish is currently about six years old and I have grown quite attached to him. I have had him along with some other fish for half my life. But sadly he has developed a large slit on the lower half of his tail. He is not a fan tail. He has a common goldfish tail. It looks quite painful and my accounting has a similar problem. Is there anything I can do. I will be devastated if my beautiful babies die. SOS!! PLS HELP

I have a paradise betta and recently he has lost large chunks out of his tail fin. I don't think it is fin rot and I don't think he has caught it on any sharp edge on decorations in the tank. He is in a filtered 2.5-gallon tank and the only other living thing in the tank is a tiger snail. Can you help me? note: in the pictures, the first one is current but the one of the tank is a couple of weeks old. the only difference now is the leaf bed has been removed.
A female(?) Molly fish with swollen belly, isolated from the other fish in the tank. Had for approximately 17 days.
