My cat has had this for almost his entire life, and he's 9 years old. It's the only cat bed he has ever used. Any other beds he ignores, but he loves this one. You can buy the bed part separately as well, so if you need to have an extra fabric bottom to swap out during washes you can.

This is not as soft/stuffed as I had hoped. I like how the bed is secured to the structure, it does not use Velcro, but cloth loops the pipes can go through. However, it is more of a stand alone accessory it that it has no Velcro attachments for platforms in the adjacent square to use and there is no way to share the same pipe. For me, I'd rather use a platform from the Kity City structure and his regular bed place on top.

This is obviously a lesser quality cat bed, given that it's hollow plastic tubes for the frame, but it IS good value. My cats are all in the 10-16lb range and they like it. Big enough for my fat cats but small enough that it's not taking up an annoying amount of space.
