Ordered this item on August 29th, with delivery of Sept 5th. It is now Sept 4th, and they still have not shipped it. I ordered this item for a move on Sept 9th, but with the delay, it won't make it here in time, so I had to cancel, and the process of cancelling is not solid, everything with PetCo is "we'll email you in 24-48 hours", so this might still ship late, and then I may end up having a dispute. I was able to order an exact clone of this product on Amazon, with 2 day shipping. Its so identical, that I'm pretty sure both companies have the exact same parts, and just change the name/branding on it, but the contrast here where one could deliver within 2 days, and the other can't even prepare the package in one week.

I received this today and absolutely love the concept, our cat has already been in it! The reason for only 3 stars is because one of the latches to open was broken and we had to cut the strap to get it open, and will have to use a strap or something to keep it closed now! We need it this week so returning wasn’t an option. I find this disappointing, because this defect should have been caught on quality check.

I bought two of these kennel/soft crates, one for each of my cats, in the event I ever need to evacuate my home (for my bug-out kit). They are roomy enough to hold a small litter box, food and water dishes, plus let the cat stretch its legs. I can also put both my cats together in one for traveling in the backseat of my car. The kennels fold up to the size of a large briefcase. It is a little tricky to fold them up but not a dealbreaker. These kennels are not ideal for long term situations, but they gave me great peace of mind knowing I have a safe way of transporting and housing my cats in the event of an emergency.

I moved all the way from Northern California to DC in the car with my two cats (one 9 lb. domestic shorthair and one 18 lb. ragdoll), and this crate was perfect! They had enough room to move around while also being comfortable, it helped a lot with my anxiety that I could buckle the crate to the seats, and it was super easy to set up. I would recommend putting puppy pads under it so that your back seats don't get gross, and you need some other plan to get kitties in and out of the car because it's not a solid base (you certainly can't carry a kitty in the crate outside the car), but it worked great and was the perfect solution.

My kitties have loved all of their Kitty City playthings - the pop-up cubes, tunnels, and now this circular tunnel. Well made and sturdy.
