I have bought the same type of hay from the same place and my guinea pig always devoired it. I have introduced them to grass and now they have almost totally stopped eating the hay. Their weight has remained the same. Is it okay to just eat the grass instead of hay? They always have hay available
What is the difference between Timothy Hay and Timothy grass? I have to house bunnies one is a lion head and one is a Florida White and they're currently eating Timothy Hay and pellets. What is the best for they're diet?
My guinea pig blue passed a large poop today & when he did he squeaked. They have been eating OXBOW Timothy hay for a year now but the quality in the hay has changed & they stopped eating it they picked out the fuzzy pieces so they haven't been getting the amount of hay they should be for around 1 month, someone said try OXBOW orchard & he's been eating it like a "pig", could not really having hay-having hay & eating lots DO THIS? he only passed 1 big poop & only squeaked then , now all normal
Hi, I have two chinchillas which are not eating their hay as often as before. They are perfectly fine, eating their pellets, excited for treats, drinking water, curious and their poop is fine. Any ideas on why and how to get them to eat hay again. The hay is Timothy Hay and made by Oxbow
What hay is best for a guinea pig, and what amount of veggies should I feed per guinea pig? Thanks!
My adult rabbit will not eat hay. Is there an alternative? Any help would be appreciated.
Is Pasture hay good? If so what’s good about it?
This days it’s been eating lot of Timonthy hay, I’ve a hard time trying to switch from alfalfa hay to Timonthy hay when it was young...when I switched, it still eat hay but only a bit...this year I got the hay from different place, it seems to love the Timonthy hay a lot now, so eat ate a lot of hay... at the same time, it’s water intake increases quite a lot too. I realised that when it eat a lot of hay,it’ll drink a lot of water. Is this normal? I do not give vegetables daily btw.
My husband found out his allergy source is coming from timothy hay for our guinea pig. I tried switching to orchard hay but my piggy doesn't like it. Can I substitute the actual hay for anything else to give him the proper nutrients like timothy cubes or something? apparently its the dust the hay makes that hes allergic to
My guinea pig has always eaten timothy hay like crazy but for the past couple months she has pretty much stopped eating it completely. She still eats her pellets like normal, eats her vitamin C tablet and eats any fresh fruits/veggies I give her but she won't really eat any timothy hay anymore. What could be the cause of her lack of interest in hay? Is it something I should be taking seriously?
I just recently moved and my guinea pig will drink and eat her normal food but she won't eat the Timothy hay I've always bought her that she loves. I'm confused?
My rabbit is a little older than one year, I currently feed her unlimited Timothy hay, unlimited water, and a small amount of pellets split between morning and night. I do not fees her vegetables consistently, although I feel that I should. So, is this diet food enough? And should I add or change anything?
