Care & Feeding Instructions: When introducing a rabbit to a new food, begin with a mixture of the old and new foods, gradually increasing the amount of the new food over a 7 to 10 day period. This will prevent digestive upsets as well as allowing your pet to adjust to something new. The following feeding amounts can be used as a starting point and should be adjusted to maintain a rabbit's proper weight. The portions shown below are for one rabbit. Adjust the amount if additional rabbits are fed. Rabbit Daily feeding amount: small breed - 1/3 -1/2 cup (1 1/2 -3 oz), large breed - 2/3 - 1 1/2 cups (3-7 oz). Keeping clean water is an essential component of a good pet care program. Clean cage at least weekly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kaytee is my go to brand when it comes to my rabbits. It's always fresh, nutritional, easy to feed, and my rabbits love it. All of the ingredients are healthy and safe for feeding. The bag is made to be closable, it zips shut to keep freshness. I definitely would recommend this to anyone needing a good rabbit food

Buy it. Or prepare for bunny side-eye

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food must be laced with the dreams of carrots and the essence of forbidden parsley. I’ve never seen him move this fast unless the treat bag rustles or the vacuum turns on. 10/10 from me. 17/10 from him. He now ignores me unless I come bearing this kibble of the gods. If your rabbit eats this, congrats, you’ve been replaced. 🐰

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a super picky rabbit that usually just picks out the colored food/fruit out of feeds but when mixed with this one he eats the pellets too. I ingredients seem to be pretty good and it definitely smells/looks fresh. It’s a great price and I love the resealable bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sweet boy wouldn’t even eat this. He tore through his entire dish to eat the crumbs of his old food, and then proceeded to chew a hole in an unopened bag of his old food. So I speak for him, when I say it was not good 🤣

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We raise rabbits and have begun using this feed. I love the ingredients as well as the packaging. Some bags rip and tear too easily and the food spoils. This food is easy to keep fresh. This food has the perfect nutritional value for growing rabbits.

Is this appropriate for an 8 week old bunny? Or is he too young? Thanks!

  1. Hi Claire! This would be fine for your bunny!

My bunny eats this food regularly and loves it. This time around I am finding popcorn in the food, and I'm kind of concerned. Has anyone else ran into this issue?

  1. POPCORN??? That is very strange. Are you sure that it's popcorn? I've never had any weird ingredients in my bunnies food before.

I’m in search of the best food for my bunny and was very interested in this because it said there was no alphalpha. But after reading the ingredients alphalpha is one of the main ingredients... why is this?

  1. Our diets are formulated by experienced Veterinarians and Nutritionists to offer a high quality food option for your pets. We encourage all pet parents with questions about the nutritional needs of your pets to call our Consumer Care Department at 800-529-8331.

I'm new to rabbits and would like to know if this rabbit food is the best choice for one rabbit.

  1. Hello, Timothy Complete is the best diet for an adult rabbit. You need to also provide plenty of fresh loose Timothy hay as well.

Timothy Complete for Rabbits - front of bag says it's alfalfa-free, but the ingredients list has alfalfa meal as the third ingredient. What gives?

  1. The ingredients label on the site is incorrect. The actual bag does not list alfalfa meal in the ingredients.

With the Timothy Complete, does this provide the daily essentials for the timothy hay? Can I feed this to my rabbit and skip the bagged hay?

  1. I would not recommend skipping loose hay. Rabbits need something to do during the day, and to nibble on. Hay helps to control teeth growth.
