Hi! I recently got a little baby parakeet. So far, she’s been doing very well; it’s been a little over a month. However, instead of eating all of her seed mixture, I think she just picks through & eats her favorites because there are a lot of remnants at the bottom of her cage that are uneaten. She eats kaytee Fiesta seed mix. Should I change it? Add something else? Or what what I incorporate in her diet to make sheets she’s getting what she needs? She’s tried apple so far.

Her main diet is Higgins Sunburst Rat and Mouse food which has hard nuts and other foods. Will that be enough to keep her teeth trimmed down? Do you have any suggestions? She tends to be a little picky.
