This review is ONLY for the mini sized 4.5" silent spinning wheel. Overall, this is a good product, but DON'T buy the mini one. I mistakenly ordered one for my mouse (didn't realize how small it was) and it caused her to arch her back when using it, which is very unsafe. My mouse is pretty small and it's difficult to imagine there's any small animal this would fit, except maybe a baby. Just do yourself a favor and buy the regular (6") or giant (12") depending on your animal. The wheel was very quiet and made with good quality. I love that you could have it free standing or attached to a wire cage.

I bought this for some pet mice. This one is great in that it's pretty darn quiet, constant use for the past few weeks and I can't hear it across the room. If that were the extent, it'd be 5 stars. BUT since there are absolutely no holes in it, urine and poo collects in it terribly making an unbelievable stinky, sticky mess! There weren't many options at my local Petco for exercise wheels. Are the wire wheels not made anymore? I'm having to take this outside and hose it off every couple of days. 🤢

This was the best toy my hamster ever had as soon as he saw it he ran straight to it like his life depend on it😂 he ran four an hour non stop but if it gets dirty with poop it is not the product you have to wash the cage every 2-3 days including the toys. The wheel is so silent but if it's not then the wheel you bought must have already been broken. Yes I sooo recommend this product.

Pretty good wheel, but after 3 days it was full and stained with pee and poo. Gross. I would rather use a wire wheel for half the price. If you don't mind cleaning it every couple days, this is the wheel for you !

I bought this a week ago to replace a standard wheel that was a little loud. The hamster lives in my children's room, the third night it was in the cage, my daughter woke me up in the middle of the night because it was so loud. She had never done that with the other wheel. This wheel is so loud, much louder than the other wheel that cost half the price.

Would it work for my guinea pig?
- I work at Petco and bought this for a dwarf hamster. Guinea pigs should not have wheels as it can hurt their spines. For excise you really need a play pen so they can run around

Is this suitable for my winter white dwarf hamster?
- you should use the largest size you can, their spines should not curve at all but they should be able to fun flat on the bottom, even if they look ridiculously tiny! had a larger syrian and i bought a chinchilla wheel that was 12 inches. i would think at least 8 inches for yours

How do you get the metal stand off?
- If you're looking at the wheel from the front, pinch the top of the spindle with your fingers. If you're having a hard time use pliers to pinch the spindle and you should able to pull the wheel away from the stand. After that is done, just pull out the metal stand away from the circular locking mechanism. From there you can install it in a cage.

- No. Robos need at least a 6" wheel. This is 1.5" too small.

- No way! to small. A robo needs at least a 6.5-8 inch wheel. This wheel is to small it can bend your hamster's back

Does this have to be attached to the side of the cage? Im going to make a bin cage, is there a way to make this work??
- If you buy a silent spinner, you will see that there is a stand attached to the bottom of the wheel. Leave it there!

can I use this for two fancy mice? or should I use a saucer? If not what size wheel should I use?
- The silent spinner is good, but to prevent injury from back bending getting a 8 inch wheel would be a lot better, and would be a lot better for your mice.
