How to make my gerbil exercise? I got two, one like to run but other don't like. And is exercise ball recommended? How often to change the house setup?
If my hamster runs around in a 7 inch ball is a 6.5 inch wheel to small for her? She fits just right in her ball since she is a bigger hamster (teddy bear) so I worry that if I order a smaller wheel she won't fit
My mouse likes to run, constantly. I think he has hurt his back legs. I took the wheel out, and I checked how he walks. His back side limps, and his joints are red and bent forward. However, he still walks around. I'm worried.
I recently bought my mouse from the store and she doesn't stop going in clockwise circles. She'll stop to eat food, but then continues on her spin. I've isolated her just in case it could be infectious to my other mouse. Is it just behavioral or could it be a health concern?
So I recently posted a pic of my hamsters new set up. People said that CritterTrail is too small for her. She has two cages and then tubes connecting them. She runs in her ball for 4 hrs a day with a break each hour for water and food. Should I make her a bin cage or keep the CritterTrails cage?
My one month old hamster is dragging her left foot in the back should I be concern? She was fine this morning .. I removed her wheel and other toys
I bought a critter cage for my rat. It has powder coated wire bars on the floor of the cage with a litter tray under it. I've read conflicting reports on whether the wire bars on the floor could hurt the rat's feet? What is the medical opinion?
Hi, I have two hamsters, male. They are both new and they fight a lot so I decided to separate them. One on them has a wheel in the cage and the other does not. I have read that hamsters need a wheel at night because they are nocturnal animals. Is it okay if I let my hamster run in the ball in the evening for a few hours instead of getting a new cage?.
Hi I have a dwarf hamster and he is running on his weel and flung off and he has a small amount of blood next to his ear would like some advice
Is a 112 quart bin a good size for a hamster to live in?
Guinea 62 days preggers and running around in circles after i cleaned her cage. Normal?
My hamster is not only asleep all day but also night, I have to wake her up 3 times within 3 hours to put her in a ball because she won’t exercise. She poops and pees just fine, she’s warm, her eyes are fine. It almost looks like she is dragging her back legs but I can’t really tell. Sometimes she’ll exercise alittle. The first day she used her wheel all night. She doesn’t look sick but I can’t tell. Russian dwarf hamster unknown exact age, from petsmart.
