It broke within a 2 weeks of use. I screwed the wheel back on the stand, and it continued to break every time. It is really poorly designed.

Bought this last night and it’s the furthest thing from silent. It immediately started making a noise when my hamster used it. It’s so poorly built it’s so flimsy and bends forward when being used. Do not buy. I have purchased much better wooden wheels in the past from amazon.

Not quiet at all. Also after only a couple of days I heard a clatter and was dismayed to see that the knob had fallen off and the wheel was resting on the bottom. Poor scared hamster burrowed in, not out enjoying herself anymore.

I made this purchase a few weeks ago and was so excited to install it to the side of the cage, allowing my chinchilla to silently run to his heart's content. However, it quickly began producing a very loud, high pitched squeaking sound whenever he was running on it; so much that we could hear him on in on a separate floor.

One of the worst wheels I have ever purchased. The whole wheel wobbles no matter what I do. My hamster gets scared because of the loud screeching sounds it makes. This is anything but silent…. For this price I would expect something better. Will be returned.

I have had terrible luck with these wheels and have been forced to buy a far more expensive metal wheel from another company. However, I have an older chinchilla who is not super active, and this works fine for him.

Lacks sturdiness. Vibrates and wobbles when in use. Not worth $40.

I bought this a few days ago. The inner part of the wheel has a plastic cap on the screw. This is the ONLY thing holding the wheel onto the screw. Of course my pet chewed the plastic cap and now the wheel no longer connects to the Cage OR the wheel stand. I'm surprised they thought a cheap plastic cap would survive rodents. Extremely disappointed considering it was $35. I'm fine with my guy chewing the wheel itself....but it sucks that his chewing the apparatus that holds the wheel up results in the wheel becoming useless. Oh well.

Would this work for rats? I know it might be a little small but those Chin Spin wheels are just SUPER expensive and my rats aren't that big.

Guinea Pigs should NEVER use running wheels or balls. Their backs are not designed to bend in a ‘U’ shape and it can seriously hurt them.

We do rinse ours under water all the time and it doesn't harm the wheel, but the wheel has never made noise. I would exchange it!

My brother lost his cat so we are getting him a hamster. i need to know what kind of hamsters would be ok living in a ten gallon tank and is this size big enough?i already have the stuff in it .

No hamster can fit in a ten gallon. the smallest size tank you can put a hamster in is a 40 gallon
