I would leave zero stars if I could. First, my African Grey didn't care too much for it. Second, the bag waa infested with flying bugs. Friggin' gross! There were these white flat eggs shapes like sunflower seeds, but we're soft and white. I dug deeper and found the nest. Had to throw the bag of food away; however, not before some of the bugs escaped and I was not able to kill them all yet. They do not like light, so they are hard to find. All I know is they better not remate and make a nest in my house and infest. I itch thinking about it. I also want a refund on the bag of food I had to toss. I would have took pictures, but I didn't have time. I wanted it out of my house before more got out!

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this a while back an haven’t found it in the gonzales store , an found it at the hammond store . my bird absolutely loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an extremely picky 14 year old Green cheeked conure (which apparently is pretty common with this breed))! He only wants to eat his treats and seeds that provide little nutritional value. I was very skeptical about this food just because of my bird’s personal history. It is in the shape of little soft pellets and reminds me of miniature dog food! At first my bird just enjoyed playing with it and breaking it into little pieces! However with slow introduction he started eating it and I can feel good about giving my bird better nutrition! I just mixed a third of this food into his regular favorite Kaytee seed mixture and was happily surprised to see he was eating it and not leaving it behind on the floor or his cage! Definitely worth a try!
