I bought this a couple months back and ever since I’ve been giving it to my pigeon in his seed mix, he looks awful, this product doesn’t help molting it makes your bird lose feathers more. When I did not use this in my birds seed mix he looked very healthy and he would molt and his feathers would grow back very fast and now his feathers don’t grow back at all I’ve stopped adding this to his seed mix and he looks so much healthier and his feathers are finally growing back. Please do not use this for your birds

No, I do not recommend this product.

My cedar waxwing is molting a lot of feathers on his head. He does not have a mate or parents as he was abandoned as a baby so preening indicating parasites etc isn’t a factor in his case. Is this a good product to use for a possible vitamin A deficiency?

  1. Cedar waxwings live on fruit. If you are keeping a wild bird you would do well to research what they eat like I just did it only took a few seconds.

Can I use this for homing pigeons
