Feeding Instructions: Feed in a separate grit cup. Replace weekly. One grit cup per cage is sufficient for several birds. Discard unused portion if soiled. Cockatiel, canary, finch, parakeet: 1/4 teaspoon weekly per bird. Do not provide to birds fed processed foods, such as Kaytee Exact. For maximum freshness, store in a dry, cool location.

Questions
My cedar waxwing is molting a lot of feathers on his head. He does not have a mate or parents as he was abandoned as a baby so preening indicating parasites etc isn’t a factor in his case. Is this a good product to use for a possible vitamin A deficiency?
- Cedar waxwings live on fruit. If you are keeping a wild bird you would do well to research what they eat like I just did it only took a few seconds.
