FOR PEOPLE WHO OWN SMALL ANIMALS THAT CHEW
I bought this 2 weeks ago for my chinchilla, do not by this if you have a chinchilla or something that chews on plastic. He’s almost completely destroyed the whole thing. And for this to be labeled for “small animals” needs to be relabeled. Of course this is my fault for knowing this is plastic. But it is very weak and not well made. I would at least put a disclaimer on it just in case. Sorry :/

Great, Sturdy Feeder at a Reasonable Price
I have 2 of these. One is 2 years old. It is very sturdy and won't tip over. Our Guinea Pig has used this for 2 years and hasn't been able to damage it at all. I also bought a second one of these yesterday for a new, 2nd Guinea Pig. This is the best hay feeder I've ever had or seen.

Two in one for everyone
Wonderful and long lasting food dispenser. The other ones don’t last as long because let me face it all hay and pellet eating rodents chew constantly. The convenient two in one design helps de clutter pens allowing for more overall wander room.

Not very functional
The issue with this feeder is the hay falls into the bottom compartment where the pellets would go. I would suggest just using it for hay.

My rabbit destroyed this product. It chewed the plastic and ate it.

Good, but my bunny is too smart for it
Love the idea of this feeder. The carabiners to secure it to the cage are good quality. My bunny likes to nibble on the feeder but it's holding up decently. My biggest complaint is that it didn't take her long to figure out how to take the metal rack out of the grove and throw it around like a new toy. Would prefer it to be permanently connected, or at least harder for her to get out. Overall would still recommend.

- It can hold about 3-4 cups of dry food.

Can this be used for winter white hamsters?
- You could put their food on the bottom, but no, they do not eat hay and would not need as much food as would be put in this feeder. I'm afraid mar334 is correct---hamsters don't eat hay.

I can I use this for Ferrets
- Item is fairly universal. You should be able to use for ferrets. My one word of caution is that our guinea pigs have learned to depress the retaining clips, lift, and drop it into the cage. They then remove the hay retainer and spill everything into the cage. Ferrets tend to be problem solvers so I suspect they will learn to do this as well.

Can this be used for small goats?
- It would probably be way too small for goats. I have horses and I just recommend feeding livestock hay on the ground. It's like grazing and easier for everyone involved.
