Can this be used for winter white hamsters?
- You could put their food on the bottom, but no, they do not eat hay and would not need as much food as would be put in this feeder. I'm afraid mar334 is correct---hamsters don't eat hay.

I can I use this for Ferrets
- Item is fairly universal. You should be able to use for ferrets. My one word of caution is that our guinea pigs have learned to depress the retaining clips, lift, and drop it into the cage. They then remove the hay retainer and spill everything into the cage. Ferrets tend to be problem solvers so I suspect they will learn to do this as well.

Can this be used for small goats?
- It would probably be way too small for goats. I have horses and I just recommend feeding livestock hay on the ground. It's like grazing and easier for everyone involved.

This is where Luna's food is stored. For the past few days I've caught her biting the container lid. Why is that? She's fed 1/2 cup per day of purina cat chow naturals, but is she still hungry?

Every time I get a new bag of food, I pour it into a round glass container I bought from ikea. I’ve been doing this for over a year. My cats eat friskies with the different flavors. For the past week, whenever I feed my cats with the food from the glass container, my cat won’t eat the food, she prefers whatever’s leftover in the bag still (not all of the food fits into the container. Hi! I recently got a little baby parakeet. So far, she’s been doing very well; it’s been a little over a month. However, instead of eating all of her seed mixture, I think she just picks through & eats her favorites because there are a lot of remnants at the bottom of her cage that are uneaten. She eats kaytee Fiesta seed mix. Should I change it? Add something else? Or what what I incorporate in her diet to make sheets she’s getting what she needs? She’s tried apple so far.
