this is a terrible cage for any hamster or small animal do not buy this hamsters need atleast a 12 inch wheel and 20 inches wide of a cage this is not even okay for a travel cage if you buy this you shouldnt be buying any animals because you need to do ur research first here are some tips: Hamsters need atleast 4 hide outs put minimum 3 chew toys feed once a day dwarf hamsters minimum 6 inches of bedding and syrian 10 inches clean cage once a week and spend time with the hamster

I bought this for my mouse and was VERY disappointed by it. She cannot climb up the tubes nor move the wheel. I'm disappointed by the product, not my mouse to be clear.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! Killed our hamster. Sharp plastic cut off her leg and cut open her stomach. Absolutely traumatizing a 10 year old boy. Disgusting and inhumane

NOT SUITABLE FOR A LIVING BEING please, do not fall victim to outdated hamster care that is stuck in the 70s. we have scientific research that proves hamsters need deep bedding for burrowing and larger wheels for their spines, as well as a larger living space. if you are still buying this in 2024, you are being misled by store employees who arent even properly trained on any of the animals majority of the time unless they spent their own time researching. i had this as a child and i was so young. the hamster kept escaping the cage because the cage is not well built at all. it is plastic, and hamsters can chew through hard woord, of course they can chew a hole into the plastic or somehow just find a way to squeeze out, that's how bad this cage is in terms of value, the cost is outragous for what youre getting you could get a bucatstate 3.0 or 2.0 for a bit more money but way larger, more suitable size, can hold bedding for burrows, made of metal and sturdy material, etc.

Great home for my winter white dwarf hamster and it’s not to big or to small

This cage did its job. It’s pretty safe and sturdy. My kids loved all the tunnels and add on features. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend as a long term solution for a home. Maybe a dwarf hamster or gerbil, but for a Syrian hamster it’s too small. Ours became stressed and started gnawing the bars.

NO. This cage is WAY to small for all of the species of hamsters. Crittertrail cages do NOT provide enough square inches of floor space for a hamster to thrive happily. Do your research! :) I recommend victoria raechel.

Yes, and no You can get one at Petco.com , but if your hamster messed with it the first time, what’s stopping him from doing it again. You should get a different model if you ask me. There are plenty of regular cylinders on the market -LaylaTheHamster

Looking back, don't use this as a permanent home for anything really. This was my hammy's permanent home for like a week before I attached it to a bin. Now she is so much happier. PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO PAST ME I WAS SO StUpID!

I have had this habitat 1 week my mice love it. I clean it regularly however the wheel just started squeaking during use. Any ideas? I clean the wheel almost daily with water.

We recommend applying vegetable oil! Sometimes, that will mitigate the noise. We hope this helps!
