DO NOT BUY HAMSTER ON THE LOOSE
I bought this a month ago, completely regret it. Have to order Teddy a new habitat. I thought my son kept letting him out until today, we get home and see Teddy running across the floor the blue piece on the side came off. When we’re all in bed i hear a plastic piece hit the floor the blue piece came off again! Thankfully Teddy didn’t escape this time and now have it fixed to where he cant get out for now until we get another habitat

I bought this and my son’s hamster has gotten out 3 times. The blue circles on the sides fall out or into the cage causing the hamster to get out quite easily. Now we have to go spend money on a new SECURE cage. We’ve had to tape the blue circles on so he can’t get out.

DO NOT BUY! Horrible design, hamster escaped!
My daughter has two of these linked together for her hamster. Imagine our surprise when we saw her hamster standing at the top of our staircase! Thank goodness he was there and we were able to safely get him back in his home. After some investigating my daughter noticed one of the metal bars near the door has come loose allowing him to pull the bar and pop the door open. For now I have the doors wired shut with picture wire until I find a solution. DO NOT BUY THIS CAGE!!!!

I bought this a day and my hamster loves his new home I had no issue at all with it and the store also put it together for me amazing thank you guys for all your help

WAY TOO SMALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT IS TOO SMALL!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT buy this for a long term or permanent hamster cage. The bare minimum for a hamster cage is 450 square inches I prefer 20inx40in. Also it is waaaayyyy to expensive in my opinion, i recommend looking on Niteangel or bucastate for proper hamster cages! Also the wheel is to small and does not work very well. It also does not let you put more than 3 inches of bedding but hamsters need a minimum of 6 inches but I perfer 10-12 inches.

DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR HAMSTER!! I recently got a hamster and I bought this cage. It’s WAY too small for a hamster. The bedding is like 10 centimeters! 10!!! Now I have a 40 x 20 in. hamster cage that was way less cheaper than this one. It was only 35 dollars. Your hamster will suffer in this cage. I promise what I’m telling you is true! DO NOT BUY!

would Winter white dwarf hamsters escape?
- No they wouldn’t be able to unless you pop off the circles on the side that are used to connect tubing. Besides that it’s practically impossible for them to escape I have a Roborovski dwarf hamster and so far he hasn’t been able to escape, not once.

Will this cage be suitable for 2 rats
- No this is a pretty small cage. We have had 2 mice in it and it’s fine for them. Maybe good for a dwarf hamster.

- This would be an excellent home for a dwarf hamster! Also, please note that our CritterTrails are different from other small animal habitats in the fact that they can be connected to other CritterTrail habitats! This allows the hamster to have more room for fun and exploration!

- I have a regular Syrian hamster and love it. But I do have 2 connected together. Otherwise I think it would be too small.

What are the dimensions does this have at least 360 square inches of floor space?
- The dimensions are 16"L x 10.5"W x 10.5"H. This means that the it has 168 square inches of floor space. If you would like a larger habitat, we recommend that Kaytee CritterTrail Super Hamster Habitat, 30" L X 18" W X 16.5" H, found here: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/kaytee-crittertrail-super-hamster-habitat. With a CritterTrail habitat you can use CritterTrail tubes and accessories to connect to other CritterTrail habitats to expand the living space for your pet.

Is the wheel nosey at night
- Yes, it is squeaky. Please get a larger cage for your animal than this. I bought one on a whim then actually did my research and they need MUCH larger. A tank works well!
