[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun addition for my hamster. He likes to pop up and sniff around the holes on the top. It’s a good space for him to stretch out after climbing through his tubes. He sometimes brings a snack and enjoys it for a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very cute addition to our hamster's cage. The only thing we would improve is that it is easy to accidentally not attach the top properly. Our hamster was able to pop the top open before we realized this was a possibility! If you're careful, it's not a problem. This is a good place to hide treats for your hamster to find!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so cute. My kids are loving all the interchangeable tubes and tunnels and hides that are available. They love watching their hamster exploring. These are made from a hard plastic so they are easy to keep clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3/5 stars Packaged well, they are able to connect and are sturdy. However, I feel that these are particularly good for larger rodents like hamsters. I purchased these for my mice and mice do not like spacious areas. They also let in too much light so it would not be used unless it’s dark. Excited to see what my mice will think of them! They will be attached to an add-a-room & carrier. While it’s fun to watch your pets run around, they may not use it if it’s too light. Hope this will change in the future.

I have the petit travel carrier. I am adding another water bottle to the side thus having to plug the top hole. Will this look out work?

It might work if you only use one small tube to connect, and I'm not sure if the top hole on the carrier can connect with the tubing (I don't have the carrier you're using and the picture doesn't really show the angle well). The look-out is pretty top heavy and frequently falls to the side if it's not propped against something. But you can remove (or don't have to use) the full length of tubing that is included. My mice do enjoy the look-out more than other cage attachments and use it as their primary nest/ hiding spot.

Would a (slightly) large mouse be able to pop the top off? I had a similar thing came with crittertrail Z) and the top came off.
