This is a great option/addition for making adjustments to our current expansion setup. I honestly didn't have a plan for how we were going to use this when we bought it, but it's been fun to put in and out of other tube arrangements.

They will send you ONE tube... even though it shows mutiple tubes in the pictures. The mailed them in a plastic bag, not a box. ALL were broken upon delivery.

I bought tubes for my hamsters cage about two weeks ago. She loves them. I am happy that I got them because it keeps her entertained. She is full of energy and love to be active. We have a wheel for her but I think she loves running in the tubes more. Thank you for helping and being kind to the customers.

Do these work for Syrian hamsters? Or are they too small?
- I have gone ahead and measured it for you to demonstrate the dimensions. Measured diameter of the Kaytee Critter Tube 'Tee / T' version is 2 inches or 5cm exactly. And because all of the Kaytee Critter Tubes are uniform, they are all the same diameter, regardless of whether a tee, four-way, coupler, or ladder. The measurement is taken from the inside diameter of the tube and is drawn at the narrowest point; I say narrowest because the Kaytee Critter Tube is constructed with a baffled wall standard that serve as paw grabs which permit the hamster to ascend and descend tubes placed in the vertical, and enabling the pet owner to arrange the habitat in a variety of ways.

- There is no lid, that’s a connector ring to snap it to another tube. It’s open on both ends.
